Budget |
 |
Budget is a plugin inspired by the 3DS MAX plugin "Polygon Count". Usage is very simple. Just dock it to your layout and set your budget. Budget will automatically get the correct polygon (or triangle) count for any object, primitive, or generator (including HyperNURBS, Symmetry, Sweeps, and more). The only limitation is that if you select both a generator and it's child the count will be the sum of both, and therefore inaccurate. It will even report the triangle count if you are working with quads. There is also a small indicator light that will turn red if any n-gons are present in the selected objects. Budget can even give you an audible alert when you exceed the set budget.
Budget is available in the Downloads section below.

H2N (Height2Normal) |
 |
Height2Normal is a shader for Cinema 4D that will convert any shader or image into a tangent space normal map for use in the Normal channel of a standard material.
With controls for sample radius, height, and a variety of sampling methods, this shader gives you more flexibility with bitmap based bump maps than simply loading them into the Bump channel.
The latest version also gives you controls for tweaking the height source and allows you to export the normal map directly from the shader properties.

Select Loop is a small workflow plugin that will allow you to select a loop of polygons without having to switch tools.
Simply select two neighboring polygons and run the Select Loop command and you will have your loop.
Select Loop also comes with another command: Select Nth. Select Nth works exactly the same as Select Loop, except that it allows you to specify how many polygons to skip while creating the loop. So setting Select Nth to 2 will select every other polygon in the loop.
