Common Parameters

Cycles 100% 0% to 10000%Controls animation cycle for 1 second of real time, and is not affected by frame rate.
Time 0.0 0.0 to 1.0Controls the time through the animation of the drop. In order to create one full cycle of animation keyframes must be set up that changes this parameter from 0.0 to 1.0.
SeedVaries0 to 10000The seed parameter is used to create the water pattern. Two shaders with the same seed will be identical. Changing this value will help insure that multiple shaders are unique.
AnimateOffOn/OffWith the animate option set to On, the shader will animate itself without the need for setting keyframes. When the animate option is On the Time parameter is ignored.
ColorNAThe color gradient allows you to alter the shader's color. This is the standard c4d color gradient.
Delta100%-500% to 500%The Delta parameter is used for calculating bump maps. Bump maps calculate the slope (or normal) for each sample from surrounding samples. The Delta value determines the radius of the surrounding samples. Higher Delta values usually mean a harder bump, and can sometimes produce a "doubling" effect. Smaller Delta values result in a much more subtle bump. The Delta value should be used in conjunction with the Bump channel's Strength parameter.
TimeVaries0.0 to 1.0Time controls the animation of the drop. In order to create one full cycle of animation keyframes must be set up that changes this parameter from 0.0 to 1.0. If the Animate option is On the Time parameter is ignored.
Min Wave0.00.0 to 1000.0Determines the starting wavelength. The wavelength controls the distance between the peaks of the ripples. As the texture is animated the ripple will start from the minimum wave, when time is 0.0, and finish at the maximum wave when time reaches 1.0.
Max Wave1.00.0 to 1000.0Determines the wavelength. The wavelength controls the distance between the peaks of the ripples. As the texture is animated the ripple will start from the minimum wave, when time is 0.0, and finish at the maximum wave when time reaches 1.0.
Min Radius0.10.0 to 1000.0Determines the start radius. The radius controls the distance from the center to the outer ripple. When animated, the ripple will start from this radius at time 0.0.
Max Radius1.00.0 to 1000.0Determines the end radius. The radius controls the distance from the center to the outer ripple. This is the radius when a ripple ends, at time 1.0.
Min Ripple50.0 to 100.0Determines the starting number of ripples. When animated, this is the number of ripples when time is 0.0.
Max Ripple80.0 to 100.0Determines the ending number of ripples. When animated, this is the number of ripples at time 1.0.
